Villa Gesell was founded by Don Carlos Gesell in 1931, although at that time only was his own house in the middle of the dunes where the sand would try to fix by planting different kinds of trees.
Over time the people grew and now Villa Gesell is one of the most important coastal cities of the region, with Pinamar and Mar del Plata, to name a few.
Not only can we enjoy the city center, the most popular beaches and all kinds of services, from hotels to world-class restaurants, but we can also visit the various forests and city parks.
The Pinar del Norte, where the old house, now a museum, Carlos Gesell, the Pinar, Paseo Boulevard; or areas of Mar de las Pampas, Las Gaviotas and Mar Azul, which in recent years have grown by a more relaxed style of tourism, luxurious and very suited to the surrounding nature (pine, no extensive beaches resorts and shopping centers of wood lost in the depths of the forest).
Villa Gesell is an ideal destination for family trips, and the city has been continuously remodeled to appeal more to adults and children, although there are ample jobs for young people wishing to go out and enjoy the evening.
