Surrounded by old mills and countryside typical of northern Europe, Verla City is one of the many points of interest throughout Finland, a country with better economy of Europe.
The Village Museum, and the old Verla Mill have been declared World Heritage Site, and a walk through its streets to discover the magic of a monument today is perfectly preserved.
Verla is a traditional village forests and rivers, landscapes within normal Finnish. Located in the area of lakes and Valkeala Jaala, is part of the environment of Kymi River Valley.

Paper mills, which now practically disappeared over the continent, were one of the most practical ways of getting water to the media during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. So much so that the mills were active Verla since its inception in 1872 until 1964.
The walk through the Village Museum Verla also allowed to walk between the buildings of the city and get an idea of the provision and lifestyles in Finland in the late nineteenth century.
