The architecture of the times of the viceroyalty, and the dye religious Arequipa has turned into one of the centers of major international tourism in Peru. The area now occupied by the great city was found, in earlier times the Inca Empire, congloremados nomads who engaged in hunting, fishing and gathering. These groups were expanding to the sea, increasing lines of communication with other areas, giving rise to the first settlements.
It was in 1170 when the chief Inca Manco Capac arrival at the Chili River valley and gave the name "Arizona qquepay", and divided the land among more than 3000 families, giving rise to towns and villages as Caiman Tiabaya Chiguata and Socabaya, among others.
Some of the sights we will see on this twon, through the beautiful squares and streets of Arequipa, including the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral and City Hall, a trio of buildings surrounded by arches of ashlar, with architectural styles combining the neo-classic elements of French architecture.
